Phil Thompson believes the best stories begin with saying “yes.” Whether he’s catching a live band, exploring a new city, hitting the gym, or cheering on the Chiefs, he’s always looking for his next great experience and never takes himself too seriously along the way.
Life has handed Phil a few unexpected stories, too. He’s appeared on The Jenny Jones Show, was born in the same hospital as Joe Walsh, and spent plenty of time backstage in the ’80s rubbing shoulders with rock stars and meeting some of his biggest musical idols. He’s also got an uneasy fondness for murder shows, from Dexter to Dateline, and is still chasing that elusive perfect 300 in bowling. Phil’s happy to let someone else plan the trip. He’s just ready to say “yes” when the next great story comes along.
