When I was a kid, there were two things I wanted to be: A rock star or a D.J. It didn’t take long to figure out that I had no musical talent so option two was my goal. Glad that worked out.
Thanks to my parents for supporting my love for all things Classic Rock by buying me a radio, turntable, cassette recorder and all the top albums of the day.
Started by working in clubs in the late 70’s and worked my way into radio in 1980.
Meeting some of the biggest classic rock artists of all time has been the biggest thrill of my life and I have many stories of those great encounters.
I am an animal lover and support many animal causes. Although I have no pets now, there was a time when I had 6 dogs, 3 cats, 4 horses, a duck, a pig, and a cockatoo. (I was married at the time so there were two of us to wrangle the animals.)
I am a gym rat although I prefer to call myself a “fitness enthusiast”. Hitting the gym is my main way of staying in shape but I’m trying to broaden my horizons by taking up fitness “hobbies” like kayaking, biking, etc. Although I refuse to take up “running”. Can’t do it, won’t do it.
Enjoy competitive bar and yard sports: Cornhole, Darts, Axe Throwing, Drunk Croquette
Fan of true crime (Murder T.V.) and N.F.L.
Finding new shows to binge is always a challenge, because there are so many. But when I find one, I’m all in! Examples: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Game Of Thrones, House Of The Dragon, Six Feet Under, Dexter.
Perfect situation: Sitting outside around a fire pit with a cocktail cutting up stories with friends, both old and new.
