Family Assistance Center
A center has been established at the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) Training Facility, located at 2911 Taylor Boulevard. Here, families and loved ones of those affected can receive emotional support, information and guidance. Residents are asked not to touch or move debris from the crash site, and to report any suspicious or crash-related items through the city’s reporting channels.

A shelter-in-place order was issued for the initial aftermath in the affected area. While the zone has been reduced, residents in the immediate crash proximity should remain alert to updates on air and water safety.

A special emergency relief fund, the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund, is now open for donations. Funds will support funeral and burial expenses, assist recovery efforts and provide help to families facing hardship because of this event. Every dollar donated will go directly to affected individuals and families.

The contributions made by first-responders, medical teams and volunteers have been tremendous. It’s in moments like these that our community’s strength and compassion shine.
Mayor Greenberg has emphasized that while the investigation continues, the priority remains to support families, maintain safety and begin healing together.
